Lymphoma Canada - Par for the Cure 2019

Join Lymphoma Canada for Par for the Cure 2019 at Woodington Lake Golf Club

The annual Par for the Cure golf tournament will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019, at a NEW LOCATION: Woodington Lake Golf Club in Tottenham, ON. There are a number of opportunities to support Lymphoma Canada and participate in this fun event. Proceeds will support patient programs as well as our ongoing commitment to fund lymphoma research and advocate for access to effective therapies for lymphoma patients in Canada.

Format - Team Scramble

The four-person scramble features teams of four players competing agaisnt one another. Each player hits a shot from the tee and the best of the four shot is chosen as the starting point for the next. All team members then play the second shot from that location, and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed. The team then records its score and maintains this order of play for all 18 holes.

Participants can expect the following:

  • 18 holes of golf scramble format

  • Live entertainment

This year's tournament features a sit-down dinner curated by Woodington Lake's Executive Chef, Kenneth Johnson. Kenneth is a highly acclaimed chef who has worked in Michelin Star restaurants, including Bouley and La Bernadin. He has also appeared on popular Food Network shows - Chopped, where he is a three time champion, and Beat Bobby Flay, where he defeated celebrity chef, Bobby Flay.

Tournament Schedule

  • 10:30 am - Registration opens
  • 11:00 am - Barbecue lunch 
  • 12:15 pm - Shotgun start
  • 5:00 pm - Cocktail reception

Default - 10 oz AAA striploin steak with Red Wine Demi, Roasted Potato & Seasonal Vegetables
Vegetarian - Stuffed Pepper Squash with Quinoa, Curried Cauliflower, Toasted Almonds and Dried Cranberry
