Lymphoma Pathology Webinar

Your pathology report provides your doctor with critical information on your type of lymphoma and helps them determine the most appropriate treatment. This online information session will provide lymphoma patients with more information on the importance of pathology throughout your lymphoma care and will include a discussion on the following topics of interest:

  • The role of pathology in medicine
  • Lymphocyte biology and the lymphatic system
  • Modern lymphoma classification
  • Biopsy procedures
  • Pathology testing and its relevance to lymphoma diagnosis
  • Components of a pathology report

Speaker: Dr. Jeffrey Craig

Clinical Assistant Professor, UBC
Pathologist, Lymphoma Group, BC Cancer Agency

Dr. Jeffrey Craig is a Pathologist with the Lymphoma Group at the BC Cancer Agency and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia. He completed his medical training at Weill Cornell Medical University and his doctoral thesis in the Laboratory of Genetically Encoded Small Molecules at Rockefeller University. Dr. Craig specializes in lymph node and bone marrow pathology and is involved in a wide variety of lymphoma research activities. He completed residency training in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology and fellowship training in Hematopathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
