Southwestern Ontario Chapter – Peer Support Meeting: Online Live Discussion
If you’re dealing with lymphoma, you don’t have to do it alone. The Southwestern Ontario Chapter is a local volunteer-based group run by and for the lymphoma community. We are lymphoma patients, family members, and caregivers in the Waterloo Region and surrounding area. We meet regularly to connect with others who face the same challenges. To learn about treatments, share our experiences, and offer mutual support. To be stronger together.
Join us at our next online live discussion.
Moving through the lymphoma journey can be a challenging process; you are instantly transported into a new way of life as you move through your diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care or survivorship. There are many resources that patients rely upon to help them cope and manage throughout their lymphoma journey. Each of us has our own inner strength and set of personalized resources that we use to maintain our wellbeing and health through the cancer experience. At this online live discussion session, we are going to discuss what these resources are!
Have a pen and paper ready as you work through practical exercise that will help identify your own unique ways of bringing meaning and quality to your life throughout your cancer journey. This practice of self-discovery can help you take back some control of the important things to you and help you on your healing journey. This evening, Robin McQuillan and Cheryl Alexander will lead the discussion and activities based on various programs that they used in their own healing after their diagnosis with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
This free meeting is hosted and organized by the Lymphoma Canada Southwestern Ontario Chapter. The Chapter meets quarterly the first Wednesday of February, May, August & November. Please feel free to contact us at 1.866.659.5556 or 905.858.5967. You are welcome to email us at: email@example.com.
