Il existe deux cat\u00e9gories g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de lymphomes : le lymphome de Hodgkin et le lymphome non hodgkinien (LNH).<\/p>\n<p>La diff\u00e9rence entre le lymphome de Hodgkin et le LNH est la pr\u00e9sence de cellules de Reed-Sternberg. Une cellule de Reed-Sternberg est une cellule d\u00e9riv\u00e9e d\u2019un lymphocyte\u00a0B et qui n\u2019est pr\u00e9sente que dans le cas d\u2019un lymphome de Hodgkin. Si les cellules de Reed-Sternberg sont pr\u00e9sentes lorsque la tumeur est observ\u00e9e au microscope, le diagnostic est le lymphome de Hodgkin. S\u2019il n\u2019y a aucune cellule de Reed-Sternberg dans la tumeur lymphatique, le diagnostic sera probablement un LNH. Le LNH est plus commun que le lymphome de Hodgkin, dans une proportion de 6 contre 1. Parmi tous les diagnostics de lymphomes, 85\u00a0% d\u2019entre eux sont des LNH.
