Les fruits et l\u00e9gumes entiers sont compos\u00e9s de vitamines, de min\u00e9raux, de fibres et d&rsquo;autres nutriments qui agissent de concert pour combler certains besoins nutritifs. Les aliments entiers de source v\u00e9g\u00e9tale sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9s aux suppl\u00e9ments alimentaires, car peu de donn\u00e9es montrent que ces derniers r\u00e9duisent le risque de cancer. Essayez de consommer 2,5\u00a0tasses de fruits et l\u00e9gumes entiers (et tr\u00e8s color\u00e9s) tous les jours r\u00e9partis dans tous vos repas et collations. Comme rep\u00e8re utile, dites-vous que votre assiette devrait \u00eatre \u00e0 moiti\u00e9 remplie de fruits et l\u00e9gumes \u00e0 tous les repas. Au lieu de choisir du riz et du pain blancs et des p\u00e2tisseries faites de farine raffin\u00e9e, essayez de choisir des pains, des p\u00e2tes et des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de grains entiers tels l&rsquo;orge, l&rsquo;avoine, le sarrasin, le lin, le millet, le quinoa, l&rsquo;\u00e9peautre, l&rsquo;amarante, le bl\u00e9 kamut et le bl\u00e9 bulgur (bl\u00e9 concass\u00e9).
