Ils sont naturellement s\u00e9cr\u00e9t\u00e9s par les lymphocytes lorsque vous contractez une infection. Les anticorps se fixent aux prot\u00e9ines localis\u00e9es \u00e0 la surface des bact\u00e9ries et des virus, puis ordonnent au corps de les \u00e9liminer.<\/p>\n<p>Les cellules de la LLC ont, elles aussi, des prot\u00e9ines situ\u00e9es \u00e0 leur surface, et des anticorps peuvent \u00eatre cr\u00e9\u00e9s en laboratoire pour reconna\u00eetre ces prot\u00e9ines. L\u2019anticorps de fabrication humaine se fixe \u00e0 la prot\u00e9ine cible sur la cellule de la LLC et identifie la cellule pour que le syst\u00e8meimmunitaire la d\u00e9truise.<\/p>\n<p>Le traitement par anticorps monoclonal est parfois appel\u00e9 \u00ab immunoth\u00e9rapie \u00bb en raison du nom m\u00e9dical de l\u2019anticorps : l\u2019immunoglobuline. Certains traitements par anticorps<br \/>\nmonoclonal sont offerts pour le traitement de la LLC, et plusieurs autres font l\u2019objet de recherches cliniques.<\/p>\n<p>Les anticorps monoclonaux sont souvent administr\u00e9s en association avec des agents de chimioth\u00e9rapie. Tout comme les m\u00e9dicaments de chimioth\u00e9rapie, les traitements par anticorps monoclonal sont administr\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une aiguille ins\u00e9r\u00e9e dans une veine (perfusion intraveineuse) ou sous la peau (perfusion sous-cutan\u00e9e).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6f2c8a; font-family: 'Montreal Serial', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">Obinutuzumab (Gazyva\u00ae)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Obinutuzumb is an antibody that targets and\u00a0attaches to the CD20 proteins found on CLL cells and some healthy blood cells. Once attached to the CD20 protein, obinutuzumab is thought to work in different ways, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By helping your own immune system destroy the cancer cells<\/li>\n<li>By destroying the cancer cells directly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, obinutuzumab can also harm healthy cells in your body.<\/p>\n<p>Obinutuzumab has been approved by Health Canada for the treatment of patients with previously untreated CLL or SLL, when given together with the oral chemotherapy drug chlorambucil.<\/p>\n<h5>Rituximab (Rituxan\u00ae)<\/h5>\n<p>Rituximab is an antibody that targets and\u00a0attaches to the CD20 proteins found on CLL cells and some healthy blood cells. Once attached to the CD20 protein, rituximab is thought to work in different ways, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By helping your own immune system destroy the cancer cells<\/li>\n<li>By destroying the cancer cells directly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, rituximab can also harm healthy cells in your body.<\/p>\n<p>Rituximab has been approved by Health Canada for treatment, alone or in combination with other drugs, for treatment of those with previously untreated CLL and those who have received prior treatment.<\/p>\n<h5>Alemtuzumab<\/h5>\n<p>Alemtuzumab is an antibody that targets and attaches to the CD52 proteins found on CLL cells and some healthy blood cells. Once attached to the CD52 protein, alemtuzumab is thought to work by helping your own immune system destroy the cancer cells.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, alemtuzumab can also harm healthy cells in your body.<\/p>\n<p>Alemtuzumab is approved by Health Canada for the treatment of CLL in patients who have been treated with alkylating agents and who have failed fludarabine therapy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Les anticorps sont des prot\u00e9ines dans le sang qui luttent contre les infections.
