Elle est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans le traitement des h\u00e9matologies malignes, de la leuc\u00e9mie et du lymphome en particulier. Ses int\u00e9r\u00eats en recherche portent sur le d\u00e9veloppement clinique de nouveaux traitements de ces cancers. Elle a men\u00e9 ou particip\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 100 essais cliniques sur la leuc\u00e9mie et le lymphome et a publi\u00e9 de nombreux ouvrages sur le sujet. Elle est actuellement directrice associ\u00e9e de l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de recherche clinique du Centre du cancer Segal de l&rsquo;H\u00f4pital G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Juif. De plus, elle a r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9e copr\u00e9sidente du groupe de recherche sur les maladies h\u00e9matologiques du groupe canadien de recherche sur le cancer (CCTG) et copr\u00e9sidente de la leuc\u00e9mie. \u00c0 ce nouveau poste, elle participe \u00e0 la mise au point d&rsquo;essais cliniques universitaires sur la leuc\u00e9mie et le lymphome pour des patients partout au Canada. La Dre Assouline est \u00e9galement chercheuse clinicienne et financ\u00e9e par le FRSQ (Fonds de recherche en sant\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec) depuis 2010.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;
