Nan est infirmi\u00e8re en oncologie depuis presque 20 ans et, au cours des 5 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, elle a travaill\u00e9 au d\u00e9veloppement et \u00e0 la transformation du programme de greffes de moelle osseuse au Cross Cancer Institute. \u00c9tant infirmi\u00e8re en pratique avanc\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de personnes atteintes de leuc\u00e9mie, de my\u00e9lome multiple et de lymphome ainsi qu\u2019aupr\u00e8s de celles qui ont subi une greffe, elle est tr\u00e8s consciente du long et difficile p\u00e9riple que doivent vivre ces personnes.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est en pensant \u00e0 cela qu\u2019elle s\u2019efforce de fournir des soins complets pour r\u00e9duire leur fardeau. L\u2019attention diligente qu\u2019elle accorde \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9valuation, \u00e0 la prophylaxie et \u00e0 l\u2019intervention pr\u00e9coce contribue en partie \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les taux de r\u00e9admission \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital. Sa connaissance approfondie des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 \u00e0 long terme qu\u2019\u00e9prouvent les patients ayant subi une greffe l\u2019a amen\u00e9e \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper et coordonner un programme de groupe \u00e9ducatif multidisciplinaire local pour les patients qui reviennent \u00e0 Edmonton apr\u00e8s avoir subi une greffe.
