Pas plus tard qu&rsquo;hier, GAZYVA<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;(obinutuzumab), administr\u00e9 en association avec une chimioth\u00e9rapie par le chlorambucil, a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9 au formulaire d&rsquo;h\u00f4pital du Qu\u00e9bec. Le 25 novembre 2014, Sant\u00e9&nbsp;Canada&nbsp;approuvait le traitement par GAZYVA<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, en association avec le chlorambucil, pour les patients atteints de LLC non trait\u00e9e auparavant&nbsp;<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Nous sommes heureux d&rsquo;apprendre la d\u00e9cision du ministre de la Sant\u00e9 de donner acc\u00e8s \u00e0 GAZYVA<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;aux patients atteints de LLC, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9&nbsp;Ronnie Miller, pr\u00e9sident-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Roche Canada. En tant que chef de file en oncologie, Roche s&rsquo;engage \u00e0 non seulement d\u00e9velopper des traitements novateurs pour les patients, mais aussi \u00e0 collaborer avec des intervenants cl\u00e9s au sein du syst\u00e8me de soins de sant\u00e9 afin de s&rsquo;assurer que les patients ont acc\u00e8s \u00e0 ces m\u00e9dicaments.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>La LLC est la forme la plus courante de leuc\u00e9mie chez l&rsquo;adulte et elle est diagnostiqu\u00e9e chez environ 2&nbsp;200&nbsp;Canadiens chaque ann\u00e9e<sup>3,4<\/sup>.
