CHOICE OF YOGA OR MEDITATION
Following a morning of inspiration, the afternoon will offer a choice to practice either 108-minutes of energetic and healing yoga with renowned yoga instructors or a 108-minute Meditation Workshop from some of Montreal's finest instructors. In Eastern traditions, the number 108 is sacred and signifies the interconnection between body, mind and spirit. The number 1= unity, 0 = stillness and 8 = infinite possibility. We will breathe through our yoga postures or meditation practice in unity as we discover the stillness to absorb the teachings of the day and then step off the mat into our daily lives and the limitless possibilities of a healthier lifestyle.
WHERE FUNDS GO
Funds raised from take it to the mat, The Great Yoga & Meditation Revolution will go to peer-to-peer support for patients and caregivers, education forums and the development of the first-ever national evidence-based guidelines for the treatment of lymphoma, which will help ensure Canadians living with lymphoma have equal access to treatments and care.
Join our take it to the mat community with your family, friends, colleagues and clients--it will transform your life!
