Announcing New Staff to LC

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Lymphoma Canada, we would like to announce the following appointments:

Vaughan Reid as National Development Manager and Charlene Ragin as Marketing and Communications Coordinator.

Vaughan graduated from Concordia University and Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec. He brings  20 years of fundraising experience and donor relations in non-profit organizations, in both the educational and social service sectors, and 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to fundraising, Vaughan’s background also includes strategic planning, program design and development, and volunteer management. As a lymphoma survivor, Vaughan brings a perspective to Lymphoma Canada that will help him communicate the significance of supporting LC to current and potential donors. Vaughan’s extensive knowledge and skills is a great addition to the lymphoma team as LC continues to grow as an organization to educate the public, advocate for access to treatments, fund research and support patients.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Charlene comes to us with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing and Communications, Public Relations and Advertising from Liberty University in Virginia. She brings extensive marketing and communication experience from her past positions working in both non-profit and corporate sectors. Charlene’s specialized experience in planning, re-branding, and project management will be a great asset to LC as we move forward in our next growth and development phase. In addition to her work experience, Charlene also brings a passion for creating awareness for Lymphoma Canada so that we can continue to educate the public about lymphoma.

Please feel free to contact Vaughan, vaughan@lymphoma.ca, or Charlene, charlene@lymphoma.ca, and introduce yourself.

We look forward to supporting you in 2012 and increasing the awareness of lymphoma.
