This September, Lymphoma Canada is partnering with Lymphoma Coalition, a worldwide network of lymphoma patient groups, to promote Blood Cancer Awareness Month and World Lymphoma Awareness Day.
World Lymphoma Awareness Day
No matter where they are in the world, people diagnosed with lymphoma and CLL have something in common. They share challenges related to navigating diagnosis, treatment options, and living with and beyond cancer, leaving people feeling overwhelmed and disoriented.
That is why, for World Lymphoma Awareness Day 2026 on 15 September, the global community is rallying behind the Navigating Lymphoma and CLL Together campaign led by Lymphoma Coalition. It highlights these common challenges, and emphasises how Lymphoma Canada act as ‘guide’ that help patients on their journey, offering support, education, and compassion at every turn.

Become a sponsor, participate in, or donate to our annual awareness and fundraising event, Laps Around Lymphoma. This national walk event runs from September 15 to September 30 each year. Participants are encouraged to walk 100,000 steps in honour of the more than 100,000 Canadians currently living with lymphoma. The event raises critical awareness and funds to support lymphoma programs and resources.
Light the Country Purple
Lymphoma Canada is coordinating with iconic Canadian landmarks to light them in purple on September 15, 2026, for World Lymphoma Awareness Day, aiming to increase awareness and support for those affected by lymphoma.
