Are you prepared to ask, to help others? You know more people than you realize. In order to reach your fundraising goal, you will need the support of others. Now is the time to reach out to your inner and outer circle of contacts. The comprehensive list below will assist you in reaching out to people you know. Stay open to the possibility that most people will want to support your efforts in raising funds for lymphoma.

This list of potential donors is easy to manage, use it to help you stay organized with your fundraising requests. Add additional contacts to your list.

Begin to contact people through a variety of communication formats: email, Twitter, Facebook, and by telephone. Do not be discouraged if people don’t respond immediately, you may need to contact them more than once. Stay open, you never know who has been touched by lymphoma or other forms of cancer; many have, and many are open to giving back. Keep in mind, you may need to make the request up to three times before receiving a response. Rarely do people send donations after one request, they get busy and often forget. Gentle reminders are helpful and often appreciated.
