On a cellular level, each lymphoma has a heterogenous expression of numerous proteins which can indicate and characterize abnormal tumor development. With the advancements of scientific technology, novel biomarkers are continually being discovered, which was greatly improved the diagnosis of lymphoma, stratification for clinical trials, and the field of personalized medicine. This webinar will help patients and their caregivers learn about biomarkers of various lymphoma subtypes and how identifying these clinical features can refine diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment decisions for patients.

Speaker Biography:
Dr. Robert Kridel
Dr. Kridel is a Clinician-Scientist at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. His research interests include lymphoma genomics and their correlation with treatment response, as well as the discovery of novel therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes. He completed his medical training and medical oncology residency in Belgium and Switzerland and obtained his PhD from the University of British Columbia.
